Niceo is run by DX Machina s.r.o., Kukučínova 14, Bratislava, Slovakia. Using it means agreeing to what follows.

What Niceo does

An organiser buys a room for their event and gives out a code. You enter the code, fill in a badge, and see the other people who did the same. If you both say yes, a conversation opens. It is free for attendees.

Your account

One person, one account, and the email has to be yours. Your badge should say who you actually are — people decide whether to meet you in a room based on it, so a false one is grounds for removal.

How to behave

People who match here often meet in person minutes later. So: no harassment, no messages someone has told you to stop sending, no impersonating anyone, no scraping the room, no using Niceo to sell to people who did not ask.

Anyone can be blocked or reported from the room and from a conversation. Blocking is mutual and permanent. A person reads every report, and we can remove an account over one.

What we do not promise

We do not promise anyone will match with you, reply to you, or turn up. We do not check who anyone says they are. Niceo is offered as it is, and during the first events it will have rough edges.

Ending it

Delete your account whenever you like, under Your badge. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. A room closes when the organiser’s access ends, but your conversations stay with you.

The legal bit

Slovak law applies. We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence; beyond that our liability is limited to what the law does not let us exclude. If we change these terms, the date at the top changes and material changes are sent to your email.
